Quiz night in the Shakespeare from 9.00 pm. admission is £2 per team with teams of no more than five. Cash prizes for first second and third place with a booby prize for the losing team. we alternate each week between a music quiz and a general knowledge quiz.

Poker night. We hold a weekly poker tournament every Sunday from 7.30pm. Admission is £5 per player for a 10,000 chip starting stack with cash prizes for the top 3 players.

On the first Sunday of each month we hold the Shakespeare Poker Cup night, a much coveted prize

Beginners are always welcome at our friendly tables, where the more experienced players will explain the basics of the game and help you to hone you skills.
12th Sept.- BBQ from 2pm (weather permitting!) & Poker from 7.30pm
